I said use when I should have said used. His eyesight got bad enough that he had to retire recently. His name is Larry Pockrus.
When did this take place? A couple of weeks ago two guys I was shooting g trap with at the club called him to do work before they went to the grand. One took a shot gun for repair work and the other picked one up.

It was stated on Texas Hunting Forum, his work gets mentioned on it when people ask for gunsmith recommendations. I Iive less than 20 minutes from him.

I’m ticked off at myself now because I took the word of someone I don’t know, and I almost never do that.

I’m glad I was wrong.

Not saying your wrong. He may have done the work for these guys cause he has done lots of work for them in the past. Had him do some shotgun work for me in the past and need some done now. I hope he still is in business.

cdb1, I was shooting skeet this morning with a friend of Pockrus. He said he had slowed down a lot because of his eyesight but got at least one of his eyes fixed. He is still doing work now. Just thought I would let you know.
