Question: Does anyone reload 9mm Luger in 124 gr. FMJ. I have a friend who reloads 9mm for 125 gr. with cast lead bullet's and he uses red dot for the load.

+1 as most jacketed bullet weights can vary by 1 grain. ;)

2004 Alliant load data lists 9mm load data for Red Dot - http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=182147&d=1364769070
125 gr FMJ Red Dot OAL 1.150" Max 4.6 gr 1,145 fps 33,000 PSI
I use both Red Dot and Promo (using Red Dot load data by weight per Alliant) for 9mm and 124 gr plated/lead with 4.0 gr Promo are my current plinking loads.

For carbine load testing, Promo has produced very consistent muzzle velocities (lowest so far) for 100 gr load with 1.5" 10 shot group at 50 yards - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=10286159#post10286159

Here are data for 124 gr bullet and Promo which you can reference for 124 gr FMJ and Red Dot (Note: Red Dot/Promo meters with .2+ gr and 16" carbine barrel adds about 200 fps to pistol barrel velocities) - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=10339029#post10339029
