Spats, I tried the Burris for you. Using my Rimfire Magic rifle, Burris Fast Fire 3, Sirocco suppressor and CCI Standard ammo.
I shot these four targets at 50 yards off-hand. At that distance the dot on brightness setting 2 almost completely covers the black (which is a little less than 3.5" diameter). I reckon you can certainly put 10 shots out of 10 into a soup can at 50 yards off-hand if you do your part:
