Just saw the preview ad for it, and DAM it looks dangerous!!!! The thing blew up and Will is getting PO-ed!!!!!!!! He is getting all over Joe to build this thing in a day! And i think Will and Red Jacket are pushing the limits of what you can build. There are limits. And you should not sacrifice safety for a cool gatling shotgun.

Thats what it was? I saw the preview but only half paying attention to it.

A Gattling style shotgun would be neat, albeit near useless. More trivial malarky made up for TV entertainment. It would takes months of R&D to get something like that prototyped, and they want to do it in a day? Hogwash!

Garbage

It is all nonsense. More than half of what you are seeing is stretching the bounds of reality. It is all showmanship. Did you notice in the last episode his daughter is showing more than a casual interest in one of the employees. Next we will have romantic trists along with Gatling Guns.

I guess I don't really get the appeal of the show. Occasionally, trhey come out with something kind of neat but they more often just reinvent the wheel. There was a whole video where they created "masterkeys" as if it was a revolutionary concept. There was another where they picked up an airsoft version of the Magpul FMG. They then proceeded to build a crappier firearm version of the airsoft gun (why? Magpul already created a real version of it). The show has some entertainment value (and a gatling gun shotgun would be amusing to see) but I don't know why they act like they're on the cutting edge of innovation or something.

my wife loves the show, and more power to her, shows like this at least get firearms more into the fore of peoples thoughts, and hopefully contribute to an increase in gun ownership.

The Motorcycle show crossover was the big "jumping the shark" moment for me though.

I wonder if it will just be 3 saigas put together that rotate? It will totally open up a new market for them. Then again if they really do design a true gatling shotgun than it will be interesting.

About the whole side drama, definatly scripted, you have the person that is basically the shop idiot taking a liking for the bosses daughter. Do the math.

It's all made for TV BS.

I just hope Will & the gang are really way better at building guns then they are at acting!!

And I do wish they would put up some disclamers and more legal info about all the stuff they show on TV being against the law unless you get a blessing from the ATF & pay the tax first!

I wonder how many kids will go out and buy a hacksaw after watching them saw off a shotgun to SBW length then get in trouble?

Or put a shoulder stock on a pistol like they did the other night.

Mercy!
There outta be a law.
Oh wait, there is, but Will & the gang never mention it!

I bet the daughter is going to say she wants to shoot the gatling shotgun. Then I bet they're going to show her putting her hand on the handle. Then in the cutaway she'll have a Beretta 92 in her hand instead. :barf:

There are sitcoms less scripted than that show.

Said in the last 500 RJF threads and ill say it here too. Who cares? Either watch the show and enjoy it, or let it be. Fans aren't going to convert anyone who doesn't like it, and those who don't like it aren't going to influence any fans. Let. It. Be. Its overdone, and at this point, spam.

Soap opera bull sugar

Maybe they can link 7 AR's together and that stupid chick can laugh and say cool. Please hold for the next commercial. Another lame show, barely anything to do with guns.

We're commenting on a preview without having seen the entire episode? C'mon, really?

Who here actually thinks that that clip give a complete or accurate impression of the episode?

The producers are trying to create interest by creating a drama on the promo and we'll eventually see that the actual story is absurd, but only a 10th as stupid as the "story" the promo tells.

The episode is not a complete or accurate impression of the episode so why do any of us think the clip would be.

As far as people having negative comments, they are entitled to them. People don't like being lied to or lied about.

I am really trying to like the show. The show just makes it hard to like the show. At some point the whole thing is going to bite someone involved.

I think they sold out.

They do a few interesting things from time to time. The Uzi mod was neat. The shortened 1919 was neat. The accurized Kalashnikov was neat. The toy bazooka was neat. Having Jerry Miculek on was neat.
It's almost as much fun to watch for the goofy editing and bad acting. I call bull on the grenade launcher footage. They just spliced footage shooting and then blowing up the outhouse and car with pre-laid explosives. That wasn't even good faking.
You go to the circus to watch the clowns. Same thing.
