New to these and have a chance to buy a low use (like new) Redding T7 turret press with Primer bar (still in original box) for $200

It is used, but, like new condition.

Good or bad on price?

iff you don't want please let me no. I believe iam going to get one any way. That's about a 100 cheaper!

I struggled between this press an the Dillon 550b. I bought the 550b, but am saving to add this to my bench for rifle loading and certain tasks a single stage is useful for. Buy it.

BUY IT!!!!

I picked up mine about a year ago and love it. Its nice to have 2-3 calibers on one turret and the thing is built like a tank. I tried using the primer function but found that I am faster with a Lee hand press for that step.

Ps Also go with Redding dies

Buy it. If you don't like it (can you spell "fat chance"?), you can easily resell it and get your money back. I wouldn't part with mine for anything less than your next born.

I would buy it. I have 2 extra turret heads I bought awhile back anticipating getting a T-7 press. Just have not bought the press yet.......

Redding T7

I have both a Redding T7 and Dillon 550B, I use the T7 for rifle reloading. The Dillon is used for pistol. I really like the T7 and have a couple extra turrets for it.

Good Luck
Gary

Go buy it now.

I have two, and they are worth their weight in gold. Your grandchildren will be loading ammo on them.

Just my .02,

should be a good buy there's not much to wear out likely. if it comes with the slide bar priming system that you have to buy separately then it's an even better buy. those coast about 40 dollars.

OK
Stopped by to look at it after work.
WOW - really better than I thought.
Even talked him down to $175.
Thanks to all for feedback.
Feels like a good deal - nice entry into 2014

Redding tools are top shelf for sure !

I`ve been lookin at the Big Boss II myself .

Let us know how the priming goes on the T7, They make a primer feeder attachment for it & I`ve been lookin at priming tools to seat these TITE Wolf primers !!

T7

Originally he mentioned it had primer tool and thought the auto primer system was part of deal.
Was ok - Still looks good

I need to keep this in mind::

"Thou shalt not covet thy forum members new press, nor the price they paid for the press".

Congrats! Let us know how you like it.

Thank you all for guidance on my T7 purchase. I am really pleased with my decision to purchase.

Just got it mounted to its new place on my bench.

I usually don't get lucky in buying stuff, so this was a first, might be a good year ahead.
Hope and wish same for you all!
