Just ordered a redfield revenge 2-7 $122.68 including shipping to top a savage 93 22 mag. The scope it came with seemed to be not holding zero if bumped. Not knocked around but bumped so I thought I would upgrade. The scope it came with was a 3x9 and I always used it on the lowest setting so figured 2-7 should fit my needs. Any thoughts or anyone else use either?

anyone know how rugged these scopes are? They say lifetime warranty so... Made by leupold so I figure it cant be to bad.

I have a Redfield Revolution 2x7x33, what's the difference in the Revenge and Revolution, I did notice a slight price difference, other than that what else? I am very happy with my 2 Revolutions, temporarily got one on a Bushmaster .308 ORC and it is great, may stay on it for a while.

The revenge is 2-7x34 I dunno, not much, Looks like the revolution is a couple bucks more. I just picked the least expensive of the redfields I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into the gun but I still want something rugged. seemed like the best option. Time will tell.

like I said the Redfields are worth the money, good glass supposedly made by Leupold in America though I have heard the new ones are outsourced to the Phillipines, I plan on buying one or 2 more for spares. I got another 2x7x33 on a Mini 14 tactical....1 1/2" groups with the seried 581 mini.

revolution is made in the USA. revenge is made in the phillipines. some pretty good optics come out of the phillipines. i wouldn't sweat it.

awesome guys thanks for the feedback I'm thinking anything that leupold puts their name on (sorta has their name on it) should be quality. I had it shipped ground so I am sure its going to be a week or 2 before it gets here but I am excited putting on a new scope is like getting a new gun I get to sighted it in all over, sight picture will be different. :) I am excited

I have two on two different AR15" one in 5.56 and one in 6.8SPC. You have made a great choice and not spent a ton for a good quality scope made in the US of A with a lifetime warranty...good shooting...

I have a 93FVSS with a Weaver V16 (4-16x). Fabulous scope, but like you, I never get above 4x. I put it on another gun and get a 2-7 instead.
