Hi I am wanting to take a part my Super Redhawk, and my Redhawk for cleaning and polishing the internals with the chance of changing the spring(s)
for trigger pull that I read other people talk about on the forums. I have bought videos for my Glock, Smith&Wesson, 22/45, Vaquero, and 10/22 for
disassembly, cleaning, trigger help. Am I missing somethimg about the Redhawks, because I cant find any info or videos on the subject, but plenty of gunsmiths that will do it for $100-150. Please help me with a do it yourself giude, book, or pref. video. Thanks

 Maybe it's just me but the owners manual should be sufficient for you to look at and understand which parts are what and how to go about dissassebling the parts you want to.To me those videos are a wates of good money and any I've seen aren't really any more useful than a couple trial runs through the gun with your manual. Cleaning is pretty staright forward on ANY gun so you really shouldn't need another book or video to show you that. It's in your owners manual. As far as trigger work and disassembly...if you need these instruction videos to do models such as the 10/22, Vaquero and 22/45, I'd stick with just a set of Wolff springs for your Redhawk. It'll make the trigger and action feel a bit better and is a easy DIY job that'll take maybe 30 minutes. Dissassembly to change these out is easily desiphered using the owners manual. Reassembly is as well. again...all you should need is the owner's manul. if you're still stuck...www.rugerforum.com Many there can walk you through complete disassembly and back again blindfolded.
