Refinishing the Furniture

Hello,

I am preparing to do my first tung oil finish on a G3 stock I just purchased. I plan on using Tung Oil, but I dont know if the stuff I bought is best.

It is called "Tung Oil Finish", and has other oils besides tung in it. Should I return it and look for pure Tung Oil, or is the "tung Oil Finish" what people use on gun stocks?

I use Tru-Oil.
Too each his own.

Most Tung Oil finish has dryer additives in it. If it doesn't you will have a sticky stock for a very long time.

I'd dance with the one that brung'ya and use what you bought.
