I think a company out of Israel did the the Tokarev round, a 17 cal Johnson, I think.
I would still look at the 5mm Craig, better ballistics and trajectory than a downloaded 22 round, and still very mild.

Accurate Arms #2 revised load manual has this to say about the .22Cooper Centerfie Magnum ;

The Cooper Centerfire Magnum is the .22 Extra Long Centerfire reborn. The 22 Extra Long Centerfire was designed for the Model 1882 Maynard single shot hunting and gallery rifles. It was replaced by the .22 WCF.

The .22CCM can be thought of as a reloadable .22 WMR. Its performance actually places it midway between the .22 WMR and the .22 Hornet.

a starting load of 7.7grs of AA1680 under a 40 gr Sierra SP and Remington small rifle primer yeilds1743 fps out of a 24" bbl.
