I am still waiting for the 1000 sets of dies Hornaday is producing to ship to the vendor so I can buy a set. Meanwhile I'm getting interested in running down components in case this drags on. If the dies are released and there aren't components I'm still stuck. I know it can't be impossible to do with the right stuff. Can I use a neck only .223 die? I called Lee about a custom set and they aren't doing any until later this year even though its a standardized "custom" order. Hornaday replied with wait on the 1000 die order release. So here I am...

Here are the bullet sizes if anyone has a source or suggestion.
.223 at base .470.5 tall 40.3 grains
Powder of opened round was a small ball type that weighed in at 9.5 grains.
Primer measures the same as a small pistol and not as tall as a .223 primer.
Anyone got any suggestions on this?
