just got some new starline brass from midway and extreme 124 gr plated rn to start loading the 9mm largo. to my understanding you can use 9mm luger dies to load the largo. I was resizing the largo case and it seems only the top half or so was being resized. It could just be because it's new brass too. I'm using lee dies. will this be fine later down the road when the brass has been shot a few times? couldn't find much data on this caliber nor the blue prints on the case specs. I also have bulleye and power pistol powder that I have plenty of and was wondering which would be better suited for this round. I found very little load data from other users that have used both powders. The load will primarily be for target shooting so nothing too powerful. thanks.

thanks i saw that earlier. i made a sample bullet (no powder no primer) seated the 124 gr at 1.300" and i'm thinking to myself, man this thing takes a little more powder but not much more power factor compared to my standard 124 gr 9mm luger handloads (1100+ FPS).

I reload 9mm largo using .38 super brass and 9mm bullets using a standard 9mm sizer/seater. I adjust the die so the entire brass fits, haven't had any problems.

I don't load 9x23 Largo, but I do reload 9x23 Win. While you may be able to short cut the die selection, typically standard Luger dies only work on 9x19 and 9x21. If you become unhappy with the sizing results, then Horandy makes a nice 9x23 die set I can recommend.
