Reloading bench

I like the idea of the press mounts. Do you get any 'spring' our of using them? - I sould ask anymore than the spring out of the bench top?

By the way, you must do wood working too, nice dovetails.

Thank you - nope, no spring because the footprint has been greatly extended. Nothing is ever perfectly solid, but it's very close. I can size the heaviest of rifle without "spring". The 2x4 in the front of the bench that is on edge definately helps dampen that. Thanks for the kind words on the woodworking - another hobby!

50 BMG reloading A new hobby

Hi, I am a beginner to the reloading world and i thought i would start out with reloading the 50bmg. I have recently ordered a hornady 50 bmg kit and am starting to collect reloading supplies. I have many questions though.... first what would be a good bench to mount my press on? size etc... I live in a very small place.. Second I have a AR-50 and am wondering what chamber pressures this make and model can withstand? The internet and customer service at armalite had no idea! If anyone has any knowledge I would like to here it. I want to hunt elk with my loads this fall so if anyone uses one let me know what you reload at. Thank you
