Looking for ideas on how to set up my reloading bench. I have all the equipment(single stage rcbs and accessories), just need to remember how everything is placed to make it work smoothly. It has been 15+ years since I reloaded, but did it on a make shift table then.

I have a heavy work bench(2" maple top) in my shop that is one of my work table. I am trying to decide whether to mount the press permanent or mount everything to a board or platform and clap it to the bench when I am reloading, unclamp and slide out of the way when not reloading.

Looking for ideas and opinions.

Also looking for pics of your reloading set up. Maybe that will give me some other ideas that I can not visualize.

This is mine.

My Dillon Square Deal is bolted to a 2X12 and I just C-clamp it to the bench.

When I'm not using it, everything resides in a closet.

Harmonic that is perfect. I have limited space in my town home
so that sounds like just the ticket.

Use the "search" feature on this forum for reloading . .there are at least 2 threads that I bet will take you days to read. :) (many with pictures) They gave me alot of ideas for my bench. FWIW

Have a good one,
Dave

Here's my bench, a Workmate or similar with a thick laminated oak top (made of 3/4 x 6in stock) instead of the thin bamboo two piece. The original top is laid across the bottom where bulk cast bullets are stored to add stability to the setup. The storage bin to the left holds misc stuff as well as jacketed bullets, primers, some dies, extra lubes and brass. The drawers with brass have foamboard dividers (6 per drawer) to keep calibers separate. I have a folding stool (Target, cheap) that slides in behind the whole setup for storage. Still looking for a good way to store turrets, ammo boxes, and bagged brass though they are out of the way under the bench.
