Last week a friend gave me a hundred rounds of surplus 30-06. The head stamp reads fn 57 or 58. I loaded several of them into enblock clips and headed to the range. Much to my surprise I had several hang fires and failures to fire, pretty scarry. My question is can I reuse the brass? There are three holes, one main flashhole and two smaller ones. I pulled the bullets and saved the powder. Are these components safe to use? The bullets look good and weigh 150 grains. The powder is of ball type and for an average of 10 rounds the charge is 50 grains. Is using any of these components a good idea or false economy.
Thanks in advance
