Thats odd.

Mine is 30 years old and works as well as the day I got it.

Maybe you were using the wrong set of chucks for the caliber you were pulling.
They come with three different size chucks for different size case rims.

They changed the materials. Mine is about 20 years old and has pulled hundreds (maybe even a thousand?) of rounds now without issue.

Now they use cheap components that break, so they can sell you more STUFF.

Yup, I have a new RCBS kinetic puller and the collars are already very worn from just a few times pulling, they will eventually be worthless.
I use the end grain of a 4x4 to pound on and have now started to use my shell holders in the puller.

Using wood will abuse them more then metal. Mine is 15-20 years old but don't they still have the same warranty?
