reloads as party favors?

I give ammunition as gifts regularly, and I wouldn't consider giving reloads as a party favor. I wouldn't be thrilled to accept them either - and I DO load for other shooters, and have had other loaders load for me, so I'm not biased in either direction about safety or trust. (Does my wife count? If so, then I still do shoot loads by other loaders).

I only shoot certain loads in any of my firearms. If you gave me a dozen, or even a hundred rounds of anything but pistol blasting ammo, I know I'd never shoot it. For pistol ammo, if it wasn't a jacketed or plated bullet, I probably wouldn't shoot it either - don't care what guys think, I spent a decade casting my own and shooting thousands upon thousands upon thousands of lead bullets, I don't shoot them any more except for hardcast in my super magnum revolvers. No lead for my pistols.

O.K. here is a fine example of why you don't shoot others reloads. Look at the round just above the label and just below the neck. I am all most positive the primer is missing.

Nothing in my gun art is suitable ammo. I just put whatever into the bottle, my rejects, misc. range pickups, whatever....
