I don't shoot pistol games, and had no idea what a 124 Gr bullet needed to go FPS wise to make minor back when I worked up a "plinker" load for my 9MM 1911. It just so happened I ended up with a 124 Gr plated bullet running around 1050ish form a 5" 1911. Soft recoil you can shoot all day, accurate, fun, brass drops at your feet, hard to beat.

got the Zenith mags today, They say Zenith and Metalform on the package.
Can't beat $14 a mag!
Range test this weekend but I don't expect any issues.

Funny, when I didn't shoot matches my practice ammo was the same about 1030-1050 with a 124, pleasant to shoot lots of them at that vel.
Now my match ammo (minor) is the same as what I liked for practice. Lucked out already had a match load worked up.
