thinking of buying reloads by military ballistics industries for kimber cdp kimber raptor 2 and springfield trp, all full size 1911s. appreciate some advice. thanks

My shooter 1911 has only had about 30 factory rounds ran thru it. That was the day I bought it. The rest of the time it it's nothing but reloads.

Other than some factory hollow points my 1911's only see hand loads period.
Actually every thing I have except the 380 pocket pistol only get fed hand loads.

Easily 95% of the diet for both my Kimber and RIA are reloads (typically SWCs for the RIA, FMJ for the Kimber).
It was the .45acp and it's rising costs that drove me to reload in the first place.

I wonder if people realize that a properly reloaded bullet is functionally the same as a factory round.
Because for some reason I think there's a disconnect there.

1. With your booger-hooker off the bang switch, don't flag friendlies.
2. With your booger-hooker off the bang switch, load your gun. Now it really is loaded.
3. With your booger-hooker off the bang switch, keep your booger-hooker off the bang switch... until you're lighting something up.

Now thats funny!

What's factory ammo?

Mine saw a light smattering of commercial carry ammo and reloads. If it was range ammo, it was lovingly hand crafted.
