Hello everyone! Thanks for taking time to read.
Gun specs:
Remington 700 AAC SD Magpul Hunter stock
Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50
Midwest Industries Rail
ADM Recon-S 30sd Scope Mount
Shooting PMC Bronze .308 147g FMJBT
Recently I was trying to zero my friends rifle and discovered it was shooting very high. I bottomed out the down elevation and I still had to use the 10 MOA hash above the center to hit near center. I took everything off made sure the mount wasnt to tight or loose, leveled the scope, made sure i tightened the screws evently. Still the same result. Both testings I bore sighted it and bottomed the elevation with the center still far below the target. What do you think the issue is?
