Rem 870 12 vs 20 reciever size?

Anyone know if the 12 and 20 gauge recievers on the 870 are the same size? Can I swap forearms and stocks. I just bought and 870 20 and I'm looking for a tactical stock, but most are only listed for the 12ga.

The OLDER 20 ga receivers are the same as the 12 ga.

The NEWER 20 a receivers are smaller.

The NEWER 20 ga receivers are the same size as the Remington 742/760/7400/7600/7615 semi-auto and/or pump rifles.

With that said, Knoxx now has the SpecOps Stock for the 20 ga. Remingtons.

I think that Choate makes a stock for the 20 ga Remington.
