My wife is interested in starting to shoot trap. And she currently has an 1100. I used to see guys shooting their 1100's, and they had some sort of clip attached to the receiver that kept the spend shell from being flung into your neighbor. If I remember right, the empty hung up on this clip, and did not eject from the receiver. Does anyone know what they are called, and or where you can get them? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have the T&S catcher as Hawk posted.

Mine is plastic (oops. . . let's be politically correct. . . POLYMER) and in over 15 years of use has put NO marks or scratches on my beloved old 1100!

+1 on the plastic T&S working well and not scratching your gun's receiver.

In a pinch you can use a rubber band around the receiver (over the ejection port) to do approximately the same thing. The kind of band they put around broccoli in the supermarket works pretty well.

one little thing

get an extra operating handle for the 1100, they have away of jumping out of the gun, never to be seen again!

At least once in a trap shoot someone will be hunting around after an event because the handle just vanished and can't be found!
