Remington 1187 shooting low

Can anyone help me with this topic? I have an 1187 shotgun I bought last year and it shoots 1 foot low. Any suggestions on how to fix this?:banghead:

At what range? Slugs or shot? What sights?
Check your barrel to see if it is bent. If so, a smith can straighten it out.

If the gun is sound I think some shimming of the stock is in order. But a foot low seems like an awful lot.

I had a 20 gauge Remington 1100 that came from the factory with a bent barrel. It was replaced under warrantee and I am still shooting it 25 years later. Give Remington a chance to honor their warrantee.
