Recently inherited one of these. It was in horrible condition, rust, gunk , you name it. Got it good an clean and took it out to shoot last weekend. Shoots great, save for a once or twice a magazine load failure to feed. Basically the nose of the round sits up too high and as the bolt is pushed forward, the nose of the round catches on the top of the camber. It is easy to pushthe round down and finish locking the bolt. The rifle soots great
I remember reading somewhere that you can use some more recently manufactured magazines from other Remington 22's. Does anyone know what mags work in this rifle. Is there anything I can do to the one mag I have to make it feed right?
Also do you know what scope rings I can use for it?
Thanks
John
