I picked up a few cases of the Centurion (Aguila) 40gr some time ago and my 597 loves it.
If you have any feeding issues and are using the initially issued plastic mags, get one or two of the revised aluminum ones. You can still use the plastic ones. just load them one or two rounds short to make them happy.
Also, if you tear it down completely, be sure to not fully tighten the nuts on the rear of the guide rods upon reassembly. Snug them down and back then off a half turn. The receiver body will keep them from backing off, so no worries. If they are tight, they cause drag on the bolt body freely moving.
I've not yet tried any aftermarket mags, although I've been tempted once or twice on the clear 25 rounders.
