Hello fellow outdoorsman, I recently bought a Remington 700 .22-250 sps varmint ( 26 inch barrel/ 1 :14 twist )... reasonably noted, 50 to 55 grain are the sweet spot for barrel length and twist. The rifle is going to be used for coyotes 0-500 yards and with a wild hair in a blue moon 700. I broke in the barrel with Hornady Superformance vmax .50 grains. They shot well. My main concer is that due to the current availability of this particular ammunition, I will not get the needed time at the range to learn enough about my rifle. Does anybody know about this rifle's likes and dislikes?? I simply want good factory ammo that is usually available! Thank you for your time!
