Just intrested on the worth of a remington model 700 custom deluxe 25-06 with the mountain goat engraving about 95% condition with less than 50 rounds shot....optics included a leupold 3x9x40 rifleman....thanks guys

my opinion, yuck.....had a sendero, and a bdl in 25 06 from remington. I could not push any loads near max. I tried a lot of powder types, bullets, brass, primer and powders. No luck. I sold them, got two rugers, one in a hawkey and one in a m77 mk II target. Tack drivers, not fussy at all. I can push 75 grain a maxs in the 3800 fps from the mk II. Both guns are really accurate. but maybe i just had a couple of bad ones. my other remingtons shoot pretty good. I love the 25 06 caliber. My dad's older bdl 25 06's, shoot GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That scope doesn't really add value... I am saying somewhere in the 875 to 975 range. Caveat: I don't have alot of experiece with this one.

Edit: I overlooked the 95%. I'd have to knock off $100 or so based on that.

Dont know if im really in the market for selling it yet... It was my deer gun i got it as a set up from my stepdad long ago set the scope and it might have been shot 5 times in the last 2 years 3 dead deer and 2 practice shots at the begining of the hunting season....Im more of a synthetic stock guy myself and mainly use the rem 700 270 so this rifle has been a safe king for a while dont know if i will ever use or shoot it.....

I say 95 percent but it looks just like it did when I got it 10 yrs ago...Its just to pretty for me every time I take it out im scared Im gonna scratch it.

I can think of a whole lot other stuff i could get that would actually see light of day...
