I have a remmy model 7 in 7mm08.

it is a great rifle here are the pics.





the bottom one is a young red stag i shot with it. i use 145 gr speer hot cor over 50 gr of re19 in federal nickel plated 308 win brass, necked down. i have a bushnell trophy 3-9 x 40 on it.

Ive got a pair of them as well. My first was my hunting rifle, a 700 sps in .270. I recently picked up a 700 sps varmint in .308 that will eventually get a mcMillan a2 stock and a scope that is still undecided. I intend to try my luck at long range with that rifle. both of my 700's are fine shooters that are more accurate than I am at this point.

This is my M7 Stainless in .308 wearing a Weaver 2x10x40. It's my favorite all around hunting rifle. I also have an old M722 (short action pre-700), the lower gun in the pic, that I inherited. I've reblued and refinished the stock. I have a Bushnell 4x12 on it, but intend to put a Weaver 2x10 on it. I love that Weaver, low power for brush and still hunting, high for the range and it's a rugged scope. The 722 is in .257 Roberts.

Howdy all! I'm new here to some of you, but I'm a regular on a couple other shooting/gun forums. ON other forums I'm just known as recoil junky, but this ste wouldn't let me use it.

Here's my collection of Remingtons. Some 700's, a couple 788's and one 1917 Remington Enfield.

As you can see I have a certain need for Remingtons and I seem to require a few more, I just don't know what yet .
I'd like to get an old 721 or 700 in 300 H&H or 375 H&H but I haven't been able to find either one yet.

Of them all, it's a toss-up between the 35 Wheln or the 788 in .223 as to which is my favorite. They both hit right where I'm looking.

I just got a Remington SPS DG in .375 H&H, I just put a Leupold VariXIII on it today. I've got several other Remingtons but, don't have any pics of them.

Here's my Rem 700 ADL in .270, been with me since around 1981. Been with me on virtually all hunts. I don't know the exact count but probably pushing 80+- deer, antelope, elk and a moose with it. Needless to say I'm never parting with this gun.

I have a 700 BDL in 7mm mag. It has black composite stock and stainless steel barrel and detachable box magazine. It's topped with a Leopold VIII silver scope and rings. It's a great whitetail rifle. Most deer are drt. I consider it top of heap in American game hunting rifles for everything, although I realize for big bear some would prefer a bigger round.

Remington 721

Here is my Remington 721 in .30-06 and my first doe of the '08 season. Made in 1950 and is as accurate as any rifle out there. The 180 gr. may have been a little excessive on this doe as you can see from the exit wound. I had it loaded for a big buck that had been in the area, but after the 3rd hunt I didn't want to come home empty handed. Actually better for her, she dropped like a rock and never felt a thing.

I also have a Remington 700 bdl in .270 that I guess I need to take pics of since I don't have any. Both are great rifles that I will never part with.

i have a couple... just used the 7-08 to knock the dust off a deer.

i've posted pics before, but can't right now. the 7-08 has a fluted and ceramic coated bolt body (black), and a rifle basix trigger (also black).

the rings are talley lightweights, and hold a silver leupold in place. swivel studs are nickel. the rifle has a very obvious black/silver pattern to it. yes, i am a raider fan.

My son put me onto this thread... we picked up this Model 7 a couple years ago at the Chantilly gun show. I went through a couple scopes, but now have one that is a perfect match. It's capable of 1moa and I would just love to get the opportunity to go Deer Hunting.
