Im thinking of offering my Remington 700 BDL 30-06 with Redfeild 9 power scope for a M&P 9 with the carry case it comes with three mags, kydex holster, and a mag loader. Would you do that?

No I wouldn't I'd save up till I could afford the pistol I wanted then I would have both

Well I would prefer to do that but I got laid off and have limited funds. I want the pistol because my GF and I are moving to Raleigh NC and she cant shoot my 12 gage. Im hoping to find better opportunities further south Im a welder and the steel industry here in SW Pa is so inconsistent.

Weld ears as stated in a recent internet news article has elders making well over $100K per year.
Why can't your GF shoot the 12? Does it not fit or are you making her fire some uber hot loads? And what makes you think she will be comfortable firing a 9mm?
Keep the gun, buy some low recoil loads for the 12, and start looking outside of NC for high paying welding jobs.
