^ Nasty rusting issues, a rifle that simply would not chamber a round and feeding issues none of which the factory would fix, I am DONE wasting money on their rifles especially when there are several really well made rifles on the market for less money and they have given me zero issues.

Rusting I can believe... my buddy had all those issues in one rifle.. I think I got One from their better years.. action and barrel are from 71'. I will have less than 300 into it when it is all said and done (sans optics) so I can't complain much. Savage is my go to rifle every time though

Yeah CCM did not buy out (and screw up) Remington until 2007 so there are plenty of good 700s still out there, but I won't dare touch a new one. I like Savages too, highly reliable and deadly accurate once you find out what they like. They can be a bit picky on what they want to shoot but when you find it they will put it on your mark every time. My favorite is my Tikka though, darn thing shoots everything great, makes me feel like I know what I am doing on my handloads :D I have yet to find a single load that does not shoot at leased reasonably well in it and my good loads will one hole every time I do my part.

Lol ya the savage can be picky.. mine likes 168 grain... absolute tack driver... I always forget about tikka. I miss my tikka. It was everything I could hope for and more... sako knows what they are doing. No doubt about it.
