The BDL is equiped thusly
Hi gloss polyurethane checkered stock with ebony forend. Checkering may or may not be "pressed". Hard plastic butt plate or hard rubber butt pad. Iron sights.
The "classic" had a satin oil finished walnut stock with cut checkering, soft rubber recoil pad, no sights.
The classic deluxe had the above and the ebony cap, nicer walnut and the new R3 recoil pad.
The high gloss polyurethane stock of the BDL and the iron sights and butt pad are a turn off for me. But many years ago, I thought they were the cats meow...
Most of the classic and classic deluxe models are equipped with the "j lock", but not all.... I have an early one in 6MM that has no J lock.
