I inherited a set of scope mount bases from my Dad who did some gunsmithing work during the 50s - 60s. The box they were in was marked "Remington 700". Scope rings apparently attach to them with some type of recessed head fastener much like the Redfield rings attach to their base.
Would like to know if anyone recognizes these and know whose rings would fit.
