I spent the weekend pillar bedding my 700BDL. In the process I removed the trgger assembly from the receiver by drifting out the two pins holding it to the receiver. This also removed the sear safety cam and the bolt stop release mechanism. I neglected to photograph or sketch the assembly prior to removal - thinking "this won't be hard to reassemble". I was wrong.

I've searched online and this forum for instructions related to reassembly -- wasn't able to find anything. The schematics I've found don't show me the oritentation of the parts in the final assembly (eg, does the front of the bolt lock mechanics go under or over the front pin?). Looking for assistance (photos/links to instructions would be greatly appreciated.

The parts list should also be in your manual. It is difficult to find assembly and disasembly information at times, so I would recommend doing a search on google.

I normally end up just looking in my manual for the parts diagram. Sometimes, it takes me a while to figure out how the parts fit back into the weapon, but all of my weapons function. LOL

best of luck

Number 41 & 39 spring (stevespage) are the only parts that should require re asssembly. Tip if you have a plastic spray tube (aerosol lube & cleaner ect.) available which is approx the same or smaller diameter of retaining pin holes, cut it same width as trigger assembly insert in forward hole first depress top and insert same in rear hole. The plastic inserts especially if smaller diameter than hole will hold tention of spring and keep everthing in place and slide out easily when you insert retaining pins (you will not need three hands to reassemble).
Hope it helps
Frank
