I would like to hear from those of you who have experience with this model, especially the .223 and .204. Accuracy? Comparison to other similar models? PMs welcome.

I had a .223 VS and .243 VLS. I would swap the actions back-and-forth between the two stocks. Shot lots of groups in the 2s with the .223. Have put three shots, literally, in a dime @ 100 yds with the .243. Lost interest in bolt guns and sold them both recently.

I have a VLS in 22-250 that has been nothing but fantastic since I bought it. Well after I put a Timney trigger in that is. I topped mine with a Leupold VX3 6.5-20x40mm LR scope an added a Harris bipod. This is one tack driving rifle. I am very happy with it, great varmint rifle, if I can see it then it will fall.

My son and I have one each his in 204 mine in 223. Both are fantastic shooters. We both had to free float the barrels. Mine I have a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18 with target dot with a Harris bipod and he has a BSA 6 -18 on his with a Walmart special bipod.
