Why does Remington ammo green or yellow box, jam in my Sigma? No other brands of ammo do this. I have tried just about every kind. It shoots even the cheapest ammo just fine. If Remington is crappy, why is it the same price as Winchester, or other good name brands?

It fails to completly eject the spent round. Out of a box of 50 rds. of the Remington, I have around 5-10 failer to eject problems. My gun has NEVER had any problems with any ammo, but Remington. My friends Sigma does the same thing. Both are in 9mm.

No the round jams partially out of the gun. Like when a AK-47 gets a stovepipe jam. Yes the recoil is noticably lighter than other brands.

If the ammo is underpowered for your springs than that's going to be a pretty typical outcome. I'm not really clear on what could help you with that, that ammo has been good in my guns.

It has also been good in my other guns, I never shor Remington in my Sigma till a few months ago. I bought 5 boxes and they all did the same thing. My Sigma has had about 8,000 rounds ran through it and still shoots great. My friends has only had about 200. Yet both do the same thing. I wonder if Remington is changing the way they load them, or if it is just soem bad ammo. But I dont think I will ever buy it again.

Do all the rounds you are firing have the same bullet weight?

Do all the rounds you are firing have the same velocity?

All rds. that I fire for target practice are a 115gr. FMJ.
The velocity I am unsure about, between the Winchester and the Remington. But I wouldnt think that there would be much difference. At least not enough to cause these problems.

when is the last time that you changed the recoil spring? just curious, also are you using the factory recoil system?

I have never changed anything on my gun it is all factory. But if my spring is wore out it wouldnt explain my my buddies SIgma which is new does the same thing, with only Remington ammo.

Well, guys, all that conversation just seems to reinforce the thought that you should fire a lot of ammo and then pick the one your gun likes. Some guns like anything no matter how good or crummy. Others are like royalty, they seem to prefer one brand. I did find one remington round (10mm) where the case was a bit longer than the rest. I also found one box of "white box" Winchester that gave me five rounds from the same box that failed to ignite. But those were the only "bad" rounds I found with any brand I've tried. I shoot a lot of Blazer, reliable, accurate. My preferred carry is S&B.
