Remington & H&R

Now that Remington has purchased H&R 1871, along with Marlin Firearms, has anyone heard if Remington will make any changes to or discontinue marketing the H&R line? I hope not. I really like the H&R/NEF single shot handi rifles.

I seriously doubt Remington will change anything at H&R. They sell too many to do that. What I can see happening is having H&R make some rifles for Remington. Similar to the Remington Ar15's, in that regard. They just take a Bushmaster and give it a camo dip and lable it Remington R-15.

H&R Going to Illion

H&R has closed up shop and is moving Lock Stock and barrel to Remington at Illion New York. Marlin will remain where it is for the present time. This is from the H and R / Marlin rep at their booth at the NRA show.
