Remington Model 11 in 20ga.

I have the opportunity to purchase a like new Remington Model 11 in 20 ga. the only thing is he's asking $450.00 for it. Seems a bit high as it appears to be a standard model with no raised rib.

What do you folks think of the price, let alone the gun itself in 20 ga?

Blue book says $295 in 100% condition. I would think a 20 in exc. condition would maybe sell for $350. $450 is definitely high IMO. They are great guns, basically a Browning A5 without the mag cutoff or fancy engraving. They just don't get as much collector value as the Brownings.

Thank ya Rule303, I think I'll offer him $300.00 and see what he says. I thought $450.00 was a bit much. Thanks again for responding.
