Hi all
I am new to this discussion group but not new to the Model 12. I have owned a 12C since childhood, my first gun. I have been willed another Model 12, a 12A in some state of disrepair. The forend was butchered and I ordered a new one. When received, I found out that my 12A serial #8101XX was apparently made in a transition period when both a one piece forend screw and a three piece forend screw were used. My new forend was already drilled for a three piece. I am looking for info on which is correct for this serial# if any exists and also looking for the "escutcheon" for the forend I have. I have followed every lead I have ever been given and but havenot found an "escutcheon". I am also looking for a "threaded receiver bushing" as mine is badly worn. Thanks for any help you may give. Hope this generates some discussion. Jim
