remington model 783 .308

Hi all, my son won a remington model 783 in .308 at a local gun bash. We've noticed that there's a failure to feed issue when we put 3 rounds in the magazine, works fine with 1 or 2 in the mag. anyone else run into this problem?

I don't have that rifle,but stuff like this happens. Call Remington and I'm sure they will replace the magazine.

Could be a weak spring in the Mag.,just my opinion.

I just had to pull apart my dads 700 BDL for doing something similar... The magazine box was not seated properly up against the action. I could not see it, so it was not super obvious, but when you would load more than 1 round in the mag it would pop it right out.

Took it apart and seated it properly, had to bend the box a little to get it to fit, and it is fine!
