Remington Model 8 vs Steel plates

Hey fellas, I wanted to share with y'all a little test we did seeing if some of Remington's claims from 1906-1910 were true. They advertised the Model 8 in .35Rem, firing a 200gr. soft point, could penetrate either 1/4" or 5/16" steel (mild presumably) plates. We put them to the test. Enjoy!

Way too kool video!! Vintage ammo with a vintage gun,better than Mythbusters. I wish my 1908 mfg Model 8 looked as good as yours,but it still shoots sweet.
 
Cool! I have a Model 8 in 300 Savage (factory rebarreled) that is still waiting for me to get out and shoot it...
