First off let me give a compliment to Ed Jennings here. I got one of his sight pusher tools that is listed in THR classifieds and wow. I got it to replace the sights on my Glock. I have never changed sights on a gun and was shocked how easy it was. I would recommend Ed Jennings to anyone here.
Now my question. I am thinking of replacing the basic GI sights on my Remington R1. Like i said before i am not experienced in sight replacement. It looks like the R1 takes novak sights. I feel confident that i have the right sights picked out to buy.
My question is, should they push in and out just like my glock sights with the pusher tool. I assume so, but before i buy i wanted to ask. The main reason i question it, is all the for sale sights say gunsmith required. Would a gunsmith just use the same kind of pusher tool or is there something i am missing
I know this is a dumb question, but any help would be appreciated
