{I did not get a response to the question in "Gunsmithing and Repairs," so I put it here}
I have had two remington sendero's returned to the factory for repair. These are supposed to be relatively problem free. This is not my question though.
Does anyone know what a "M101" might be, in relation to the repair document sent back with the rifle?
This rifle had very serious head space problems. The repair document stated that a "M100 - see customers letter" was reported, and that a "M101 - Accuracy" was found.
I have received two flawed Sendero's this year, a .300 ultra and a 7mm ultra. I know these are supposed to be out of the box moa rifles. I am getting very annoyed, considering that I wanted these guns and myself setup and ready for out to 1,000 yard shooting. I received this gun back yesterday evening, and our deer hunt opens Sunday. I have probably 4,000 into this endeavor, and I feel like I keep starting over. Sorry, I had to rant.
