I just saw some nice pic's of left handed rifles from Remington's custom shop.

The rifles are down about half way and look mighty nice
I'm really starting to look at a long range/lightweight mountain rifle if they makes any sense... as long range guns are generally heavy.. anyhow I think something such like a .260 or 6.5x284 would work very well with a light weight 24 or 26" barrel. Perhaps there is a light single shot rifle and I could push the barrel out to 26/28 or even 30 inches!
so speaking of single shots anyone know any that weigh in around 6 pounds and perhaps have synthetic stocks or "low" grade wood but high grade actions?
