I've never done that, but I might first try just knocking it out with a punch. If that didn't work, I might put some tape between it and the FSB and grind away with a Dremel.
The front sight is pined in with one-way pins you just put the barrel in a barrel block or, if you don't have one, a couple pieces of pine in a vice and drive them out CAREFULLY with a punch and hammer.
You'll probably need to resort to the dremel tool to get that rivet out. I just recently dremelled of the sling mount on mine to install a float tube and th erivet won't budge without cuttin git.
You shouldn't have to hit it hard at all.
The rivet folds against the pin punch and out the other side and you pull the rivet off the punch with a pair of pliers, then remove the pin punch from the through holes and pull the swivel off the lugs if it doesn't fall free of its own weight.
I would need a picture to see exactly what you are trying to do to be of any more help.
