Removing Dura-Coat from a Synthetic Stock

Well, my most recent project went completely South, so now I was wondering who among us knows the best way to remove Dura coat from a synthetic stock?

Pick a new color and recoat. Afraid anything that would remove cured Duracoat would damage the synthetic stock.

I read on another forum that sandblasting it worked ok. I am afraid though, that it would mess up the texture of the synthetic. Because I did a camo pattern the first time, I will have to sand it down, otherwise the old pattern will be evident from underneath.

I know from experience that Carburator Cleaner spray will strip Dura Coat like nothing! But I don't know what it might do to the underlying synthetic.
