Removing the rear sight on a Win '94?

Okay just got the williams peep sight on my '94. How do I remove the original rear ramp sight?

Use a brass drift and a dead-blow hammer, tap sight out from right to left. May take a really good whack or two to break it loose if it has been in there for many years. Good idea to flood the dovetail with Kroil or Liquid Wrench

It is customary to drive sights out from left to right.

Drive in from right to left.
