I've got a Steven 311 12 Ga. with a cracked buttstock. The crack is getting bigger too. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? New or used in good shape, it doesn't really matter.
If you don't have any luck there, the stock may be salvageable. Brownells
Acra-Glas Gel...used for bedding rfle actions...also does a good job on cracked wooden stocks.
That being said...this brought back some memories. My first shotgun
was a 311A...I think I gave 70 bucks for it...new. It pointed where I
looked...It patterned great with 6s...71/2s, 8s, and even did a good job with 00 Buckshot. the barrels overlapped their pattern centers as nearly perfect as anyone could hope for.
When I saw the thread, I could almost hear those dogs singin' their song...
Hope you can fix it...Wish I had my old Stevens back.
