Ive got the straight grip stock on my browning, and the more i use it the more i find that i dislike it. Perhaps ive spent far to much time with standard sporter griped rifles, but pistol grip, and straight grips both just dont feel right to me on a long gun.
Supposedly the only difference in the stocks for these types of brownings is supposed to be the trigger guard length, at least from my research thats what Ive read. Im pretty well versed in rifles, but I dont shotgun enough to have a good idea what fits where, so im at the mercy of what i can glean from the internets.
Anyway, Ive tried buying used stocks off ebay twice, and so far neither was close to the correct contour of the receiver.
So the question do any of you know if the Uplands have a difference in receiver shape, or am i just buying the wrong stocks?
If im buying the wrong stocks, can someone give me a more detailed description of the correct stock to buy?
I already have the short trigger guard from my first attempt lol.
