Ladies and gents,

I am replacing my Bushmaster/commercial buffer tube with a VLTOR/Mil-Spec tube. I have never done this before so I need your help. I have one question. Will all of the parts swap out? In other words, do I need to order any parts to mount the Mil-Spec buffer tube or can I use the existing carbine action spring, buffer, extension nut, etc.? I am trying to see if I can just buy the tube.

Thanks for your help,
Heavy

All the other parts are interchangeable. If the original tube was staked in place (which is unlikely with a commercial size tube) then the nut will require more force to remove and it would be nice to replace nut and receiver plate with new parts, but it isn't necessary to do so. The spring and buffer are perfectly interchangeable.
