I have a Kahr PM9, and i'm looking for some close up pictures of the slide rails and duscover, so i can ascertain whether the wear on my gun is abnormal.

additionally, does anyone have a contact number for kahr where i can talk to one of their engineers? I've been having some failures to fire, and i'd like to see if i can sort it out without having to send it back.

what kind of questions do you have in mind about your kahr polymer rails which have nothing to do with the operation of the slide as your kahr runs on 4 stainless slide rails. the polymer rails at best are used to guide the slide onto the frame and after that they should not contact the slide during functioning. \\
You might have some excess flashing on your polmer rails but you have not described your problem..

Your failure to fire, could indeed be an issue, but have you cleaned the firing pin channel out to be sure it is working freely. You need not take the slide all the way down either. Just get some high pressure non cholorinated brake 3M cleaner from NAPA and insert that spray nozzle in that little hole on the bottom of the slide near the breech face, That will clean out that firing pin channel big time, fluids will come out both ends. try that first to see. also you must release up on the trigger to allow it to reset itself or you can produce lite strikes. Just very hard to get lite strikes on a kahr, due to its design, My bet is you have factory crude inside the firing pin channel. If that fails give kahr a call, they will advise you.

If you bought it new and they advise sending it back, ask them to issue a pre paid pick up for you . If you don't ask they won't bring it up either...

jocko: i don't have any questions. I just need some pictures of a new kahr for reference.

The lone haranguer: thanks for the link. that lets me know my issue isn't unheard of.

Here are pics of my CW40, hope this helps. This has around 1000 rounds through it.

with 17,800 rounds looks exactly the same way. I see nothing wrong there at all.
