Anyone have a picture that shows the correct orientation of the hammer reset spring on their P239? This is the small spring that sticks out on the left side of the hammer. I believe the other end is supposed to rest on the inside of the frame pocket the hammer sits in, but am not sure. A good photo of the fame with the slide off should show this clearly looking down on the left side of the hammer/frame area.
I would like to see if in fact the one I have is installed correctly on my P239. The other P series use a different hammer reset spring located behind the hammer, so this is unique to the P239.

Thanks,

Why yes, yes I do....
You will have to enlarge this, but it shows the spring and both DAO and DA/SA hammers.

I also anticipated your next request:

Jungle, thanks for the photo. My spring is captured in the hammer pocket as depicted in you picture of the SA/DA hammer. Intuitively, it is the only way it seems to fit and perform the intended function, thanks for the confirmation. The weird thing is that the Sig P239 OM parts diagram shows the spring orientation 180 degrees opposite, which doesn't seem correct to operate properly.

As for the second picture; not what to make of that..........
